AWW! Orphaned Twin Wallabies Rescued On Magnetic Island
Their mother was hit at night time
A set of Magnetic Island twin wallabies have been given another chance of life, after a car hit their mamma.
After the mother wallaby was hit in Horseshoe Bay, witnesses saw the siblings roll out of her pouch.
The tiny twins were collected by North Queensland Wildlife Carer Darrie Lisle, who says it’s the first time she has come across twins in her 11 years of experience.
The rare siblings will be in care for the remainder of the year.
